I actually ran this place as a bingo club for a few years in the early 90s. Breaks my heart to see it like this.

I recall it was a Bedding warehouse in the early 1970s selling Mattresses etc. the building at that time seemed in good order, at least inside.

The bedding furniture place was next door to the cinema but may have been taken over for storage by Al Murad.
Its a couple of years since I have been in the former
Regent must most of the bingo hall legacy has gone.
The slope in the circle remains though.

Now you mention it,though never having been in the original Cinema, the Showroom seemed to be all on one level.
Perhaps I should let the Matteress there or maybe just sleep on it. (Guess Leodian will be after me)
