There has been little readily noticeable change in the view of the Trinity Leeds Project webcam for a while now so I thought (hope ) it would be of interest to show views that I saved for January 1st in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 (today!). They nicely show the changes during the construction. This photo is that for January 1st 2010. You may need to click or double click on the red cross to see the image.

Cheers cnosni. For interest I thought I would post the oldest Trinity Leeds Project webcam image that I've saved, which is for March 3 2009.

I was in a currently publicly accessible part of the Leeds Trinity Project development on Sunday (March 3rd) and saw the area at the top of the escalators (next to Holland & Barrett) has now had the screens taken down, so much of the site that has not been readily seen was at least now visible. It now looks as if it will be very impressive when fully open and will be possible (so I believe) to walk undercover all the way from Basinghall Street to Briggate (you may though need to go up a level to do so).PS. For related interest I have now added a photo that I took on March 7 2013 of a direction sign to Briggate that was near the Holland and Barrett shop.

I noticed when I was in the area recently that several stores in the nearby area are relocating into the new centre. Those that I saw are:- Next, River Island and La Senza. This will though mean that their current locations may become empty, as it would not seem to make good commercial sense to keep them. Getting tenents to take such stores may already be difficult and will be even more so when more become available. I wonder what they will be use for? Surely there is no requirement for more bettings shops, fast food, mobile phones and charity shops!
