10 water lane seems to have had many owners. According to directories:1817 Benjamin Atkinson, basket maker1826 James Hollings stonemason1830 John Rhodes, plumber1834 Squire Stansfield waterman1842 William Smith, grocer1847 Mary Clark painter1870 William Sharp shopkeeper1880 John Richardson & Son, drysalters & leatherfactorsOf course the building may not be the same in the earlier entries. The 1847 map looks very similar to the 1905 map (for that row of buildings. I have marked in red what I think must be no 10
